Wind energy fair in Hamburg

When WindEnergy Hamburg is held this week, you can find Port of Grenaa in the Danish Pavilion, hall B1.EG stand number 504, where we are among others together with DWP System Suppliers.

WindEnergy Hamburg is one of the largest wind energy fairs in the world and we are ready to tell current and future customers about the facilities we can offer at Port of Grenaa. From our experience of being the primary port for the Anholt Offshore Wind Farm to our excellent sailing conditions and basin depths.

At WindEnergy Hamburg we will of course talk about what we can offer our customers and partners in general. But there are also three very wind specific things we want to talk about. That is offshore wind farms, that is floating offshore wind farms and last but not least we want to talk about Power-to-X, which is colloquially just called PTX.

All three things are part of the green transition that not only Denmark, but the whole world must develop now and in the next many years. At Port of Grenaa , we have the experience and the will to support the companies and projects that will drive the green transition forward a lot faster than we could have imagined just a year ago. Already we are looking into a winter where there may be a shortage of electricity, partly because of the lack of natural gas on the European market and with the EU's Marienburg agreement, wind and solar energy has been given a boost throughout the EU. In this light, Port of Grenaa is an active and responsible player in the green transition - we look forward to four exciting wind energy days in Hamburg, where we look forward to meeting current and new customers.
