How cookies are used on the website
- Necessary: Necessary cookies help make a website usable by enabling basic functions such as page navigation and access to secure areas of the website. The website cannot function properly without these cookies.
- Statistics: statistical cookies help website owners understand how visitors interact with websites by collecting and reporting information anonymously.
- Marketing: Marketing cookies are used to track visitors across websites. The intention is to show ads that are relevant and engaging to the individual user, and thus more valuable to publishers and third-party advertisers.
We collect a range of data about your behavior on the website via cookies. The data is passed on to suppliers of marketing targeting services. These suppliers may be, for example, Meta Pixel, Conversions API and LinkedIn Insight tag.
The recipients of the data are:
- Meta Pixel: Meta Platforms, inc. (formerly Facebook inc.)
- Conversions API: Meta Platforms, inc. (formerly Facebook inc.)
- LinkedIn Insighttag: LinkedIn Corporation
The data collected is anonymized in isolation, but if you have a Facebook or LinkedIn profile, the data recipients will be able to associate the data with your profile and the algorithms will be able to identify you. We therefore also refer to the privacy policy for your Facebook profile, their other products and your LinkedIn profile.
Our use of the Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight tag on our website involves the collection of the following information:
- HTTP headers - All about HTTP headers. HTTP headers are a standard web protocol sent between a browser and a server on the internet. HTTP headers contain IP addresses, information about the web browser, page location, document, referrer and device.
- Pixel-specific data - Includes pixel ID for both Meta and LinkedIn.
- Button click data - Includes all button clicks by website visitors, the labels on the buttons and all pages visited as a result of button clicks.
- Page metadata - Includes page descriptions, tags and keywords. This is the same data most commonly used by search engines and other web services to rank pages.
We also refer to www.meta.com for further information on Meta Pixel and to www.linkedin.com for further information on the LinkedIn Insight tag.

Video surveillance and access control policy
1. Purpose
As part of the Port of Grenaa Group's video surveillance and access control, personal data is collected, processed and stored about the persons who move around the area.
This applies to both persons with permanent access to the area - including persons employed by the port's tenants or other partners - and persons who are granted access on an occasional basis.
2. Video surveillance
The port's video surveillance may record the behaviour and movements of persons. All recordings will be stored for up to 30 days, after which they will be deleted unless there is a legitimate reason to keep them longer. Recordings are reviewed in the event of accidents and when illegal or disloyal behaviour is specifically suspected. Recordings and information on arrival and departure times are made available to the Police and to the Transport, Housing and Construction Administration (which administers the ISPS scheme). In addition, G4S monitors the ISPS area outside normal opening hours, reviewing the video surveillance at regular intervals.
The video surveillance is necessary to comply with ISPS port security requirements.
3. Access control
Persons with permanent access to the port will be issued with a personal access card. The following personal data are stored in connection with the issue of this card: Name, photograph, company name, telephone number, access rights and date of issue of the card. Arrival and departure times will be logged on an ongoing basis.
Persons with occasional access to the port, who are not issued with a personal access card, will be issued with a guest card and, when issued, their name, business name, telephone number, arrival, errand and departure time will be recorded.
Other persons with a valid appointment at the port shall be served by interphone.
There is CCTV (surveillance camera) on persons and vehicles.
Access control is necessary to ensure that only persons with legitimate business at the port can gain access.
