As Denmark's most central deep-water port, Port of Grenaa is an important hub in the centre of Denmark. We are the 'Gateway to Kattegat'.
As one of Denmark's major industrial and commercial ports, we efficiently handle cargo from land to water, benefiting businesses and society. We create growth and prosperity - in Norddjurs and the region.
Both when we load, lift and store for our partners. And when we find new green paths and save energy and resources - in cooperation with customers and municipalities, companies and the world.
Promoting a growing green world. Always close and with a long horizon.
For more than 60 years, there has been a ferry connection between Grenaa and Sweden. Today, Stena Line operates the Grenaa - Halmstad route.
The connection between Grenaa and southern Sweden has helped to develop a special bond in the region, which in 2019 resulted in the partnership agreement "Kattegat Alliance", which has been signed between Norddjurs municipality and Hallands Län.
The agreement underlines the cooperation and the will to promote business, innovation and tourism in the region on both sides of the Kattegat.
Port of Grenaa a natural hub for both liner and ferry services in the Nordic region. Does your company ship general cargo, palletised goods or large project cargo by sea, or is it considering doing so? Then Port of Grenaa is the optimal starting point for your business.
