In line with the green transition, Danish ports play a crucial role in the development of offshore wind. On August 21, Energy Cluster Denmark hosted an inspiring conference and workshop at the Port of Grenaa, focusing on the challenges we face in terms of lack of port capacity and the need to support the growth of offshore wind towards 2050.

It was a great opportunity to bring together experts and stakeholders from across the industry for a constructive dialogue on how we can optimize ports for the sustainable energy transition.

A big thank you to Energy Cluster Denmark and all the speakers - Gry Rostrup from Maersk Offshore Wind, Charlotte Jepsen from the CIP Foundation and Tine Kirk from Danish Ports - for their valuable insights and forward-looking thoughts.

Together we have the opportunity to shape the ports of the future and ensure that they are equipped to meet the increasing demands for green energy.
