3 April 2024 was a milestone where we, together with Danish Ports, opened the doors for an inspiring ESG network meeting and knowledge sharing.
From the first smell of fresh coffee to the exciting harbor tour, the day was filled with insight, sparring and opportunities.
Lasse Vinblad Thaisen from Viegand Maagøe, delivered a razor-sharp presentation where we delved into everything from CSRD legislation to strategic use of ESG data. We discussed who is affected by these requirements and how we can benefit from ESG reporting both internally and externally. After Lasse's presentation, both the Port of Grenaa and the Port of Aalborg each offered their own knowledge and experience.
It was evident that the ports represented were at different stages of their ESG journey. Some had several years of experience, while others were in the early stages. This diversity added depth to our discussions and allowed us to learn from each other.
The day was rounded off with a fantastic tour around the Port of Grenaa, where we got a vivid insight into how sustainability and efficient operations go hand in hand.
