At the end of last week, Grenaa Port's board and management team visited Halland Ports, which consists of the ports of Halmstad and Varberg.
The visit took place in Halmstad, and was a return visit after Halland Ports previously visited the Port of Grenaa. Stena Line's route between Grenaa and Halmstad provides a natural "link" between the Port of Halmstad and the Port of Grenaa, and thus opportunities to share knowledge and exchange experiences in other exciting segments that both ports work with.
The visit was extremely interesting and included a dialogue about tourism and optimization of the ferry traffic between Halmstad and Grenaa related to both cars and heavy traffic. In addition, an exciting presentation about Halmstad Municipality and Halmstad Port, as well as very exciting company visits to Stena Recycling and Biltema, and both companies' very impressive set-up at Halmstad Port
