Applicable: Port of Grenaa maintains the energy surcharge for the rest of 2024
As of January 1, 2023, the Port of Grenaa introduced an energy surcharge on mobile cranes and other equipment.
Energy prices have a direct and significant financial impact on our daily operations, which means that we will maintain an energy surcharge as of October 1, 2024.
The surcharge has been reduced by 20% as of April 1, 2024, so the new applicable surcharge is as follows:
Mobile cranes: DKK 191.00 per hour
Other (reach stackers, trucks, rubber tired): DKK 108.00 per hour.
This is excluding VAT.
The Port of Grenaa's energy surcharge is valid until December 31, 2024. At the end of December, the website will be updated for the next quarter.
This update, which is based on the previous quarter's average prices for diesel and electricity, will be available no later than the 20th of the last month of the current quarter. The energy surcharge will be calculated until the diesel and electricity prices are back to their original base level.
Base levels are based on average diesel and electricity prices for 2021 and 2022 of DKK 9.46 for a liter of diesel and DKK 0.56 per KWH for electricity (excluding tax and VAT), respectively.
