Debate about Djursland's infrastructure
Last week, Erhverv Grenaa and Business Djursland hosted a debate at Kysthotellet Djursland, about Djursland's overall infrastructure.
There was a good debate with a well-prepared Clement Behrendt Kjersgaard, about how to get through to Christiansborg. Lotta Sandsgaard from Aarhus Airport A/S, together with Grenaa Port Director Henrik Carstensen, focused on the infrastructure to and from Grenaa Port and Aarhus Airport respectively. MF and municipal council member Jens Meilvang provided input and realities from his position as vice chairman of the Danish Parliament's Transport Committee and mayor Kasper Bjerregaard from Norddjurs Municipality spoke about the municipality's considerations and strategy in the area.
CEO Kristian Thulesen Dahl from the Port of Aalborg was also among the invited guests and added input from his position as port director with 25 years of experience from the national political scene. Prior to the debate, the Port of Grenaa and the Port of Aalborg, as two friendship ports, took the opportunity to meet to discuss challenges and opportunities in general for ports in Denmark and specifically for A/S ports like themselves.
Thank you to all participants in the debate and thank you to Kristian Thulesen Dahl for the good dialog - we look forward to working together to improve the future of ports.
