Yesterday, Port of Grenaa CEO Henrik Carstensen participated in an exciting full-day conference at Christiansborg with the port partnership report as the recurring theme throughout the day.
Arriving at Copenhagen Central Station - in the most beautiful sunny weather - Henrik met his good port colleague Kristian Thulesen Dahl (CEO Port of Aalborg) on the platform, and together they walked and talked to Christiansborg, where they were ready for the day's exciting program.
The conference was opened by Morten Bødskov, Minister for Business Affairs, who gave his and the government's status on the work with the recommendations in the port partnership report. This was followed by many exciting presentations and debates.
With less than a week until Christmas, Henrik Carstensen's biggest Christmas wish on behalf of Port of Grenaa is that the politicians at Christiansborg have taken on board the many good inputs from the day, so that the port industry will hopefully hear some more concrete initiatives from Christiansborg related to this in early 2025. As an industry, we have a massive need to move in many areas - regulatory processing, infrastructure to support the green transition, etc.
