Port of Grenaa buys 8.000 m2 warehouse
Port of Grenaa buys and takes over a large warehouse and commercial building from Rygaard Transport & Logistic A/S on May 1, 2022.
The investment in the 8,000 m2 warehouse facility is a natural extension of recent years' growth at the port, says Henrik Carstensen, CEO, Port of Grenaa:
"At Port of Grenaa we are seeing a lot of interest in our facilities and skills. We constantly strive to meet this demand. The investment in the warehouse and commercial building is therefore part of our overall focus on strengthening our concept of attractive warehouse facilities and space."
New long-term lease agreement signed
"We are taking over the building with some storage agreements, which of course, will continue to apply. In addition, our good partner Rygaard Transport and Logistic will still have their administration in the building. In addition, we have signed an exciting, long-term warehousing agreement with another customer, which is why we are in the process of making parts of the building and the premises ready for this customer to move in on 1 May 2022," notes Henrik Carstensen.
In addition to the warehouse, Port of Grenaa is also upgrading a port area of 8,500 m2, which is being prepared with new surfacing for the storage of goods and project cargo.
